Ya know, I can talk proper if I put my mind to it. I just don't bother mosta the time. I'm actually a lot worse when I'm tried though. Or excited. Be glad I usually police myself.
Tired, when I'm tired. An I do tend ta not police myself. That was the point. But we don't do that flag mess anymore. There's some in museums, but not really out in the world. Do people actually fly flags like that where you come from? What in god's name for?

It seems pretty universal if that helps at all. Even across different planets an races ya see racism. Sometimes it's whole planets that hate other ones just cause they exist. I can't understand it anymore'n you an I've got centuries on ya.
Pretty sure, yeah. We've come across a few planets throughout history where it's clear there was a civilization before a catastrophic war, an only one realistic source. An there's been some where it was two or more planets that got destroyed. Races that we assume were evenly matched and musta annihilated themselves in a fight. Stuff like that haunts me, Dean, that someone could hate so much they'd wipe out a whole civilization, just erase it from creation. I can't imagine how someone could feel that way, value life so little it's like squishin a bug.
